Survey of middle school students abnormal behavior

Abstract
This study was tried to make a basic data for adolescents¡¯ mental health, as the research for studying the degree of their abnormal behavior of middle school students in early-adolescents. This research¡¯s target was 751 middle school students 2nd degree and 3rd degree in K city from 6, September, 2004 to 13, September, 2004.
The results of this study were as follows :
¡¤The distribution of abnormal group showed that language was l2.1%, attention 10.8%, negative affect 9.7%, conduct disorder-socialized 7.2%, habituation 7.1%, impulsivity 4.3%, conduct disorder-aggressive 3.5%, fine motor 2.9%, hyperactivity 2.7%, tractability l.5% and academics 0.8%.
¡¤The mean scores of subdomain abnormal group were that attention was 11.89, hyperactivity 7.95, impulsivity 8.44, tractability 9.18, habituation 6.38, conduct disorder-socialized 6.26, conduct disorder-aggressive 6.27, negative affect 5.67, academics 4.50, language 5.14 and fine motor 4.59.
¡¤The male students of abnormal group were distributed the highest in tractability, fine motor and conduct disorder-aggressive, the lowest in negative affect, but female students of abnormal group were inverse.
¡¤The distribution by the level of living was that the high group was in conduct disorder-socialized, the middle in fine motor and the low in conduct disorder-aggressive.
¡¤This research showed each positive correlation in the most of subdomain abnormal group, and tractability-hyperactivity(r=.512, p<.001), tractability-impulsivity (r=.514, p<.001), tractability-aggressive conduct disorder(r=.570, p<.001), impulsivity-aggressive conduct disorder(r=.522, p<.001) were higher positive correlation than others.
